Fracture is even to conchoidal.
Hardness is 5.
Specific Gravity is approximately 4.66 g/cm3.
Streak is colorless to pale brown.

Distinguishing Features: Crystal habits.
Origin: Named in 1994 for its composition: fluorine-rich analog
   of britholite-(Ce).
